Design & Build Quality#
The i3T EOS features a machined aluminum body with a distinctive double-helix knurling pattern that provides excellent grip while looking sharp. At 89 mm long and 15 mm across it is about twice the length of the AAA inside it — still short enough to vanish in a front pocket.
The reversible two-way pocket clip is a standout feature. Clip it lens-up in your pocket for traditional carry, or flip it lens-down to attach to a baseball cap brim for hands-free use. The clip is sturdy without being so tight it damages fabric.

This is a two-position tail clicky, not a mode-cycling light, and Olight's manual describes the behaviour precisely. A full click turns it on, and it always comes on in 5-lumen low. To reach 180-lumen high, click it off and back on within two seconds; leave it on for longer than two seconds and the next start goes back to low. A soft press that stops short of the click gives momentary-on, and repeated quick soft presses cycle momentary low and high. No mode menus to remember.
Olight also notes that the light cannot reach 180 lumens once the cell drops below 1.0V, which is the honest way of saying a half-dead AAA is a dimmer flashlight.
TIR Optic Lens#
The Total Internal Reflection lens produces a soft, balanced beam without harsh hotspots. The 60-metre throw on high is enough to light up a backyard or campsite without the tunnel-vision effect of reflector-based lights; low drops to 12 metres, which is the right amount for reading a label or finding a keyhole.
IPX8 Waterproof Rating#
